Everybody has a hero. Who is yours? A hero is a person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, or a special achievement in a particular field. A hero can also be someone who has touched your life in a particular way that has produced a positive effect.

Take time to browse through this site - My Hero- and choose a hero of your own. You may choose a hero from this site or someone who inspires you. Take time to think about all the reasons why this person is someone you would like to model yourself after. Now write a five paragraph essay describing your hero. Include information about their life, their contributions and how they have impacted your life. You may include photos.

The essays will be judged by a goup of your peers and the two best essays in each class will be published on the My Hero Website.
